Corporate Governance

In assuring the long-term interests of shareholders are properly served, the stewardship and oversight role of Klondike Star's Board of Directors encompasses strategic planning, corporate governance practices, risk management, communication with investors and other stakeholders, leadership development and senior level staffing, and standards of business conduct.

To support effective governance, two board committees were created to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities, foster implementation of company policies, and monitor adherence with statutory and regulatory obligations arising from securities, business, environmental and occupational health and safety legislation. The committees are the Audit Committee and the Environment, Health and Safety Committee.
