"Klondike Star’s mission is to succeed in the global mineral market focusing on high-quality exploration and development properties, starting with world-class Klondike gold projects, as a distinctive and sustainable mining enterprise that balances the extraction of mineral resources with contributions to people, communities and the environment."

Though we have been trading publicly in New York for only three years, our Klondike projects were initiated 20 years ago by our joint-venture partner Richard Hughes, and the history of the goldfield where we are working goes back 110 years.
Four key elements need to be in place in order to build a successful mineral exploration company intent on becoming a producing mining company. The first element is world-class projects. The Klondike goldfield is the largest unexplained gold anomaly in the world. Enormous amounts of gold have come from these surface mines, yet the underground source of all that gold remains undiscovered. Klondike Star’s projects encompass 370 km2/143 mi2 in the Dawson Mining District.
The second element is good people. Our board of directors has expanded this year to five members. Our workers skills and abilities are critical, as they have knowledge and experience in mineral exploration, making us a leader in exploration in the Yukon.
The third element is being on the leading edge of science and technology. We are sponsoring a major research project with the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at University of British Columbia, in coordination with universities in England and New Zealand. This scientific work is backed by a geologic team led by Dr. James Mortensen.
The fourth element is being well-funded at all times. We are building value through our operational capability, which we expect will result in significant valuation of our mineral projects. The mines and metals industry is emerging from a prolonged period of weakness caused by low metal prices. In the last three years, the rebound of the industry reflects shortages of supply and increasing global demand. Gold prices remain fundamentally strong. Management has a positive outlook for the industry, the company’s projects and improving its shareholder value.
What characterizes Klondike Star Mineral Corporation has been its ability to implement large-scale exploration programs resulting in new discoveries, acquisition of new and expanding existing properties, while preparing for mine decision-making and future opportunities.
